National Biodiversity Strategies and Species Recovery

Live Webinar

Description

At the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi in October, 2025, Reverse the Red announced 26 NBSAP Medals to countries demonstrating excellence in the development and delivery of evidence-based National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans (NBSAPs). NBSAPs are a key tool in the fight to reverse the trend of species decline, forming the foundation of each country's response to the biodiversity crisis. For this conversation, we invited members of the environmental agencies in Tunisia and Uganda, both winners of an NBSAP Medal, to join Mike for a discussion about their NBSAPs and prioritisation of species as their countries works towards achieving Target 4 of the Global Biodiversity Framework.
